I have a request to ship an expensive item to Israel and I'm about to tell her sure, I can do that, but before I give her the OK to go ahead and buy thought I'd post here and ask if anyone has any cautions in doing so.

I've never shipped to Israel before.

Use tracking and Air Mail.

Particularly tracking.

I wont' ship there anymore and I will ship to most African countries.

I've shipped some untracked (inexpensive) stuff to Israel since the service resumed and so far so good. Hopefully this does not curse me!!!!

Tracking should be fine as long as whatever is being shipped is allowed to go there.....

I shipped an expensive item there about 2 years ago and didn't have an issue, but nowadays I just stick to north America after headaches in several other countries.

I don't use tracking and all (well, both) packages I sent there last year were reported as Not Received.
Either the buyer was scamming or the postal system is inept.

Not my circus.
