To the US - Tracked Packet vs Small Packet. I am just getting a label and noticed that this one the Tracked Packet is about $7.00 more than the Small Packet and the small packet is about $2 more. Normally they run the same, but for my second one tonight it is way higher. It is not a PO box or RR but an address in Madison,WI. Any idea what the problem is?
Anyone use Small Packet, any problems?

I just went in and put the information from the previous tracked packet I did earlier tonight and it showed $7 more for tracked packet and $2 more for small packet. I even logged out and logged back in to Snap Ship just to make sure. They must have raised their prices a lot tonight. i'll try again in the morning, hopefully it was a fluke, otherwise I will have to raise my shipping cost.

When I enter US address in Snap Ship to get Tracked Packet rates for weight ranges, they haven't changed too. Just a few cents.

Thanks just tried it and it went back to the original charge. Somehow it bumped me out of my business account.

Have you tested using eBay labels? I stopped using Small Packet air to USA as soon as we started getting better rates using tracked with eBay. There has been no recent follow up but as far as I know those same discounts should be in play. I stopped shipping to the USA right at the end of August.
Below is the last announcement from eBay regarding CP discounts in March. devon@ebay Is this discount still live? Terms and conditions link is no longer active. Monthly sellers news announcements appear to be no longer displayed on ca like they do on com

In checking my last 2 US shipments with eBay labels CP displays as not available to USA. Tracked was used at the time. Has eBay deactived CP again without advising sellers?
According to eBay discounted calculator tool for a 1 kg parcel options available as follows. Meaning buyers would be able to choose/see discounted options with ebay labels but sellers would not be able to purchase.

Unsure if this situation required a followup. Often things get modified in the system but updates rarely get passed on. When Zonos came into play USA tracked/Expedited/Xpresspost should have been re-activated. ...for those who who choose to use.
As many have noted the conflicting flags regarding who pays duties that was causing so much frustration was responded to 10/22/25 by Devon, was that ever corrected? There was never any followup stating 1 way or the other. Both from ebay or sellers. Whatever system sellers use should have accurate messaging for buyers. It's not a 1 size fits all.
