Today, they changed the transaction details page, however they have also removed the exchange rate information on foreign exchange transations.
It used to disclose the rate of exchange used - 1.20202 for US to CAD for example
Now it just says "Rate includes currency conversion charge. See exchange rate details" and the link just goes a help page. It used to disclose the exchange rate right there, right on that page.

...that exchange rate which eVay displays was never correct or accurate.
PS - They would be better off fixing more urgent issues. like the sticky message system, which freezes and erases messages.
or
That horrendous new look to the eVay Stores
or
The Catagories which have been blown up from the inside...
Exchange rate displays are the least of the issues.

I downloaded All Transactions for October yesterday, and the exchange rate is there for each line.

It's similar to the whackadoodle display for a Canadian sellers US/UK-IRELAND sales that shows on the hub page. Total Displayed is for 12 month period made up of a combination that all used varying exchange rates. It doesn't even show the rate being applied on that page. If a rate is floating that final number displayed is nowhere near accurate in the scheme of things. Today one total. Tomorrow another.
Any time eBay applies an exchange rate it should always clearly display within the details. Another reason why doing refunds in MP is so messy compared to the past system.

Yes.
The exchange rate changes constantly.
When my late nephew worked in The City (London) an important part of his job was buying and selling currency as the rates fluctuated minute by minute.
If you mean that every transaction has a different rate, that would be normal.
But if you mean that if you were to print off a month's worth of transactions with exchange rates, and come back a month later to find the rates for the same transactions had changed, that would be really really bad programming.

It just means that the year to date USD total is meaningless because sellers have been already paid out in Canadian dollars. They should see a running total in Canadian dollars. Not a floating amount.

Go to All Transaction page under Payments Tab. On each transaction there is an exclamation point next to NET $ figure and if you click it, it shows the exchange rate.
Easier to just download the report.
