I have never seen this, but it is most likely a general liability warning. Similar to Chit Chats deal where they will fine you $1000 if you make an error with your package that results in their trucks being rejected from the border.
Not so much your specific warning, but the general liability of fines should be a major consideration when shipping with couriers if you are the typical thrift store/garage sale seller who doesn't have rock solid provenance because their items don't come from a distributor and aren't all the same make.

The main issue is that, as things stand right now at the CBP, they are probably sniffing every parcel going into the the US (via doggies or with chemical detectors), so paranoia sets in, and even trace amounts of narcotics are enough to deem a package "guilty as charged".
Yet another reason to think THRICE before selling anything to our former friends from the south.

This morning I went to print a shipping label for UPS on the NetParcel site and a pop up window came up saying if any traces of marijuana, cocaine etc were detected on the package it would be destroyed and NetParcel would send me a bill for $1400! I ended up canceling the shipping label since I sell mostly 2nd hand items and I have no idea who has been handling them.
Has any one else seen this?
That's pretty concerning, people I live with use marijuana (medical reasons, and it's legal to do that in Canada), sometimes someone else takes my packages and drops them off...
