I had a US buyer purchase a CD from me. When I went to print postage it stated no such address. The buyer lives in a small town in Oklahoma population about 800. I googled the place and the streets are numbered ie 1st St E or W and the North and South Streets are of trees ie maple, oak etc. The street address the buyer provided was SOUTH SPROUSE. I think that they meant South Spruce. I googled their relatives and it shows Spruce South, also I googled the address and could see the house, I can't see any of the house even have mail boxes. I emailed the buyer to clarify the address and they have not replied. Also their relatives have PO boxes instead of addresses. I am almost positive that it should be Spruce not Sprouse. In this community everyone probably knows everyone so it might not be an issue. WWYD? Would you change it to Spruce or leave as is: Sprouse. Buyer has a few feedback over the last 6 months

Well she just got back to me and said that it should be a po box # (which by the way, most of her family has) not a specific address and doesn't know where eBay got that address. I told her to correct it in eBay. Whew!

Assuming that you're shipping the CD with no tracking, you could send the CD to Venezuela and it wouldn't matter unless the buyer files a non-delivery claim.
I'm guessing that the entire town has one ZIP code, so there'd be no clues from the ZIP code in the address that the buyer gave you. Everybody probably knows everybody else in this town and if the CD should somehow reach the wrong relative, it's likely that the relative will make sure that the buyer receives it, unless there's a family feud going on, I suppose.
I'd probably just correct the address myself and mail it off. If you're not comfortable with that, you always have the option of cancelling with the reason "problem with address."

Thanks for your response. It is being send media mail with tracking, CD is worth $17.99 USD.

The Taylor Swift CD? Sorry to be nitpicky, but the listing says USPS First Class, not Media Mail.

Mine shows as Economy shipping outside of the US. Does yours show USPS first class?

I see economy as well.

If you have the zip code, google "where is 99999-9999" where the 9s are the zip code.
That will tell you what that zip code is for, probably it is spruce.
As richardcm mentioned it won't matter if it is spelled wrong the PO will go by the zip code anyway....

The joys of trying to message customers with no guarantees they will ever see. When concerned about an address and there is no response it never hurts to access the sales details and and get in touch with them the old fashioned way. From my experience customers have always appreciated the double check from me and never complained. Because the sale has been completed perfectly fine to do so this way. You can document with the other method if you feel it is necessary after you have confirmed so you have a papertrail. And if there IS a major issue with an address you can cancel and reissue so they can correct. You'll only be out the 30 cents.

Hmm. Checked again and I see Economy from Outside US. Perhaps I was looking at a listing eBay directed me to as yours had closed.

I might phone them. When I look at google for the street. One says the place is Dewar and a couple houses down it shows Henryetta different zip code. The buyers address indicates a different place and different postal code. I also went to the USPS website and there is no address in Dewar, it is in Henryetta different zip.

Well I tried to call and it says that the person I am calling doesn't have a voice message box set up yet. This is funny.

Oh my, just get the correct address or cancel.
There are several means available for doing so.
