What do impression and page views all mean?

Do you know what this means?    I had a lot more views than what they say.

Impressions – Impressions are the number of times your listing appears to potential buyers in a search.

Page Views – Page Views are the number of times buyers clicked on your listing in search to view your listing.

Hi Poco, the views is that for one day?, because all of them had way more than that.

Buddy had 25 page views

Jack had 18 page views

Bill had 22 page views

If they were the same, I wouldn't be questioning it but they are so far off, it makes me wonder if they are accurate?

It's only counting views that were made from the actual search page they appeared on, views from browsing categories or browsing your store or "see other listings" link would not be counted for your views/impressions ration.
