Zonos remittance fee question.

I still confused about  Zonos remittance fee charges.

Selling collectable postcards and stamps,as per Zonos and US gov. site there are  no tariff.

As per info on Zonos  and CP page there are  remittance fee ,that should be paid for each transaction and two options:

1- Zonos Verified account

$1.99 remittance fee: A flat charge for transferring the duties and taxes you collect to CBP.

2-  Zonos app

  • $3.99 remittance (converted): This is the amount is transferred after currency conversion, shown in Canadian dollars

When asked here, members who already shipped  tariff free items to to USA  saying, that there are no fees.

Spoke to CP over the phone and was told, that I have to pay fees.

Had a chat with Zonos and same answer, remitance fees must be paid.

Can anyone share their experince ,did you pay that fee for each transaction ?

Thank you

Zonos remittance fee question.

It is my understanding that there are processing fees, that are billed to the seller...I don't know much about it as I have no interest in contributing to the Trump Tariffs. Some of the other threads might have more information pertaining to Zonos and shipping to the USA. I suspect sellers have not yet received their invoices from Zonos.

No fees has been reported in other threads for no tariff items.  If you don't get a response in this one suggest checking out other threads and message the poster for information.

Zonos remittance fee question.

I'm following it and asked few times. The answer was no fees, though CP and Zonos  told me,that there are and its clearly stated on their pages.

It is why  decided to ask .It is possible, that as mentioned in previous answer, sellers didn't yet received  invoices from Zonos.

Zonos remittance fee question.

I have sent 2 dvd's to USA using Zonos and CP. No fees were charged on my end. They have not yet been delivered so I cannot confirm there is no fees on the buyers end yet.

Zonos remittance fee question.

No processing fees if no duty owing.

There has been zero anecdotal evidence to prove otherwise.
