I haven't experienced this type of warning myself but I do have random letters and numbers within my Item Descriptions which are inventory markers. Hopefully, it doesn't become an issue.
I will, however, say that I have zero interest in taking calls from customers with questions about their orders. I don't take calls from anyone, my preferred method of communication is email. My household is too hectic to allow me to have an actual, professional-sounding conversation with anyone. Every call I make is punctuated with off-sides of me hollering at the kids to stop juggling the butter knives or climbing the cupboards. With an email, it might take me ten attempts of one minute each to reply, but the person will get their reply within an hour or so. Less, late at night. Plus then international calls? I can answer a message from a buyer in Thailand at midnight but I'm not wanting to take a phone call at that hour.
We shall see what, if anything, comes to pass on the ebay Canada side.
