eBay Fees charged on .ca vs .com

Are the fees charged by eBay the same if we list on .ca or .com  ?

Do we have to list prices in US$ on .com?

Are there any financial advantages using the 250 listings allowed on .ca plus

250 more on .com, other than you now can list 500 ?

What are the short commings of using .com when shipping out of Canada?

Anybody.

Thanks

dotCOM

dotCA

See for yourself.

Keep in mind that if you list something for $10 on dot COM it will show to all US shoppers as $10 and to shoppers on dotCA as $12.50/ $10USD.

While if you list something for $10 on dotCA it will show to US shoppers as $7.50 /$10 Cdn. and to shoppers on dotCA as $10.

Re: eBay Fees charged on .ca vs .com

Yes listings on .COM are $USD

The currency conversion rate is a factor but with that lower Canadian $, the % loss for the conversion fee doesn't hurt quite so much.

Don't US selling fees depending on category vary when you compare between the 2 sites. Some higher...some lower? Same with listing upgrades? I just sell on ca so not a concern for me.

Re: eBay Fees charged on .ca vs .com

In the categories that I sell, the rates are same on both sites,...I do not use listing upgrades on either site so can't offer up anything further to that point...

Perhaps other sellers who sell in different categories will come forth with additional information...

Thank you.  I usually just sell on .ca as well but want to take advantage of the extra 250 free listings.

There are some differences depending on category, for the most part nothing too dramatic.
