The stand-alone eBay Shipping Calculator, at https://www.ebay.ca/shp/Calculator, is broken. No matter what values are entered, clicking the "Calculate shipping" button does nothing.

I used it successfully last week, perhaps on Monday or Tuesday. I believe it became broken sometime last week, because it was definitely broken on Friday, through the weekend and still today.

I used eBay's support chat function. The eBay support rep told me that she is able to reproduce the problem and that other sellers have reported the same issue. She said that this issue has been added to a priority list for resolution.

This has always been the case for many years. I think it's because at 2 kilograms it can't go Tracked Packet and has to be Expedited Parcel USA, not sure why it doesn't recognize that.
For myself I set up a separate policy called "Larger packages" and chose Expedited Parcel there and although I can't see the amount when I use the calculator from Help page, it still somehow always showed the amount in my listings (counter rates of course). If someone asked me the shipping amount I had to go to Canada Post site to look it up. A pain but as far as I know was always this way.

FYI to anyone who wants to use. The Fedex portion of the eBay calculator is now "partially" working for calculating and applying discounts so you can create labels and test for flat rate shipping.

For Canada with discount - Working - Fedex Ground, Fedex Express Economy

For USA with discount - Not working - No options

For Intl with discount - Working. Intl Economy only.

For USA with discount: Small Packet Air, Tracked. Expedited/ Xpresspost do not display.

For Intl with discount: Small Packet Air Intl, Tracked, Xpresspost Intl Non USA

How accurate it is will require your own testing. My apologies. I am just not that adventurous when it comes to testing recently rolled out options or willing to risk for my customers.

Your results may vary for residential pick up/residential delivery and customs charges.

Note 1: Testing was done only using the eBay calculator for sellers. Not an actual listing to confirm results. I personally only use CP for shipping. When I previously checked regarding Fedex home pick ups I was told they needed a certain amount of notice to arrange a pick up plus would need to be home for the driver with no specific time window. Not super convenient.

Only Small packet air and tracked for USA

Small Packet Ground, the wonderful Intl Surface(non USA) - requires customer/shipper patience, Small Packet Air (non USA), Intl Tracked (non USA) and Xpresspost Intl. (non USA). for Intl destinations.

Note 3: Tool does not have supplementary add on features like insurance, shipping tube and signature service. Or provide a breakdown of charges including fuel and tax.
