I just looked at your FB page, and your purchase values (as a buyer) are not visible. They will be visible to you, but not to others.
On the other hand, in your FB as a seller, the purchase values are visible (except for the exact amounts offered in Best Offer). I find this to be an advantage as a seller.
If you really want to keep your purchases (presumably for resale?) completely private and apart, I'd suggest opening a separate eBay ID for purchasing purposes only. Then no one will know there is any connection between what you buy on your secondary ID and what you sell on your regular ID.
