2018 Summer Seller Update

Hi folks,

As the majority of you have no doubt seen, the US 2018 Summer Seller Update is now available. The Canadian Seller Update will be available shortly, and should be online by 5PM EST, here:

Based on some of the feedback from the Spring update, this time, we've removed references to features and updates available only on eBay.com. This way, when you're reading the Canadian version of the update, you can be sure that you're reading about changes that are specific to eBay.ca. Let me know if you like that.

If you list on other eBay country sites, be sure to check out that country's Seller Update as well to see if there's anything in it that may affect you.

As usual, feel free to leave your questions and comments about the Canadian Summer Seller Release here, and I'll do my best to address them.

Unfortunately they usually turn up when you are doing a specific search for something and then you forget about them and figure out another way or the alternative you realize  "Surprise...Discontinued!!!".

Thank you... I'll have a look at them as soon as I'm able to. It can be challenging unless I have the page from which they were linked, however. 

Let's keep the next batch over PM, as we seem to be scaring everybody else away!

@mandicrafts: Will we be able to keep SMP (Sales Manager Pro) if we prefer it over Seller Hub?
I particularly like the feature in SMP that shows your top 5 Store Categories for Sales and the ability to track 5 others.
In Seller Hub, all info just concentrates on whatever category you list the MOST in. Not all categories.

There are some workarounds while I'll share with the Community at large for those who prefer to use other tools over Seller Hub. I need to test them myself first to make sure they don't blow anything up, but they seem to be used among the US Community.

Yes, this detail is critical. As an ebay Canada seller, I don't give a hoot about ebay.com-specific Seller Update issues or matters. I'll absorb those soon enough via osmosis, I don't need to worry about things that do not affect me. Thank you. I'm happy to wait another two or three days to read about the ebay Canada version of the Seller Update if it means I'm not bothered with details that won't affect me.

That's great to hear  The delay, was, fortunately, unrelated--we always prefer to launch at the same time as the US, but we got held up this time.
