Can I have an id with a store and an id without a store?

Hi Everyone,

I have a store where I sell mostly Breyer horses. I would like to sell my books only under a different id as my store looks kind of hodge podge but I don't need a store for them. Can I do this?

I would appreciate any advice.  🙂

Each of your IDs operates separately from the others with a few obvious caveats.

  • You can't bid on one ID with another.
  • You need a different email for each ID.

However, you can attach all IDs to the same Paypal account.

Some members have separate IDs for buying, for selling and for posting.

Also, you could be using your Caregories within your existing store to separate your 250+ items from one another.

Such as:

Books
Horses
Knickknacks
Et cetera

Store Categories are a feature with your store subscription so you may as well put them to good use.

If you have two of the same item... such as two copies of the same book, exactly the same  with respect to ISBN, date published  and appearance....  you cannot list one in each ID...

That would be considered a duplicate listing.

Absolutely.

When dealing in different product lines, eBay does not discourage different user IDs. What you do with one ID is independent to the other.
