Can I talk to a live agent on eBay

I have tried to speak to an agent at eBay as I have an issue that cannot be solved with the automatic replies. Cannot find a single phone number after one hour search. Does anyone have a phone number for Customer Support ? Thanks in advance

You can also start off with the automatic help and if the issue can't be addressed at the end they usually say "can I have an agent call you". I have done this several times and they usually call back in a few minutes.

The phone reps don't work for eBay

They are employed  by a subcontractor in Utah or the Philippines.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

There is no direct number,  When you go to help and contact at the top of the page, scroll down and click on contact us you 'may' be able ask for a call back from customer service,  I don't think that it is available all the time.  You can also contact  eBay customer service on FB, Instagram and X. You can leave a direct message with your eBay Id and email address.
