2. The video is old, uploaded i think in September 2018, ebay constantly changes their marketing strategy.
3. With their 1 Qtr 2019 financial results ebay revealed they had reduced their North American marketing spend very significantly .... resulting in a GMV drop of 6% on ebay.com. The Negative GMV growth trend has continued througb the 2nd quarter as reported by ebay.
4. Ebay does not divulge where or how much their spend is across the various advertising platforms but you can be assured only a very, very few of all ebay listings are forwarded for consideration to Google Shopping. Certainly no seller should expect to see many of their listings appear there.
5. Actually, I would not be at all surprised to see ebay introduce a Google Shopping subscription service whereby sellers pay a fee to ebay to gain access to GS. Other marketplaces are offering this service, nice deal for the marketplaces if they can persuade sellers to fund their own marketing program.
6. General search engine searches including image searches are still free to all for now, GTC listings should appear there.
