Final Value Fee is based on Total Including Sales Tax for Canadians - WHY???

Why is eBay going against their own posted policy??  eBay Canada is charging a Final Value Fee on the Total Amount of the Transaction, including the Taxes paid by buyer.  According to eBay themselves, Taxes are NOT TO BE INCLUDED in calculating FINAL VALUE FEE.  So then, why are they gouging Canadians and charging us in the Taxes also??  Here is their policy right from their own pages:

"If the item or relisted item sells, you're charged a final value fee calculated on the total amount of the sale and are charged per item.  In this case, the " total amount of the sale" is the final price of the item, shipping charges, and any other amounts you may charge the buyer. Sales tax is not included."

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE EBAY???????

Yes, You are definitely missing / or NOT understanding the way fees are calculated here on eBay....and eBay does NOT hide how these fees are calculated. This is eBay's site and as a seller/user of this site you agree to THEIR terms & conditionsd & their FEES!
