I RECONCILE ALL OF MY LISTINGS EVERY FEW MONTHS. A LOT ARE MISSING

EVERYTIME I RECONCILE MY LISTINGS A FULL TEN PERCENT OF THEM ARE MISSING.

this is a lot of work to do over again. i do not know if they never did actually get listed or it they just disappear.

i only have about 350 listings. i just can't imagine this happening if i had 5000 listings.

anyone have this problem?

Are you getting those 16 month announcements?

When I get one of those, and a lot of my items are long-tail, I close them for a while (usually less than a week) then relist them as Sell Similar.

The bots see those as new listings.

For those already gone, when you relist them, keep your pictures and you Description in a desktop file on your computer.

You might prefer an electronic service elsewhere, but I don't trust those.

Then if you do find something missing, you can rebuild the listing fairly quickly.

EBay refuses to admit that not only do listings disappear without warning, but that they relist unique Sold listings. Which is another problem and the only answer is constant vigilance.

I also will put all my listings into alpha-numeric order from time to time to check for double listings, yet another glitch in the matrix.
