What to do?
You should of opened an unpaid item dispute rather than a cancellation for non payment.
You unfortunately can no longer do that.
Hopefully it was not an expensive item as you can't get your FVF's back andwon't be able to close it out.
You may want to call Customer service to see if there is anything they will do for you as you may have to sit on this waiting for payment for a long time.
Check your Seller Summary page.
You may have picked up a Defect for that cancellation.
Ugh.
It is better to wait the 96 hours and open an Unpaid Item Dispute than to cancel without the buyer's actual active request.
The only two reasons that are Defect-Free for a cancellation are "Buyer Request" or "Problem with Address".
Any other, particularly Out Of Stock, gets the seller a defect.
Have you set your Seller Preferences to Block some unwanted bidders?
UID? OP asked for the cancellation...
Why did you "needed to cancel a winning bid"?
