Listed item.

I listed an item on E-bay  that has not shown up on listings. Where can I look at the listing I submitted?

You're currently showing 2 listings. Listed on the 17th and 15th of this month. For newer sellers there "can" be a delay for items to display with eBay especially if they are of higher value or in categories you don't routinely list in. Are there others MIA? I have always referred to this as eBay Tape Delay.

eBay will also send you a confirmation email when you generate a new listing. The timing of this could be within seconds of hitting submit or can be delayed if there are issues with eBay mail at the time(Or may be when it officially submits). This pending/delay issue is extremely bewildering when the listing is for an auction item with  timed start/ending. Could potentially cut into views. Why majority of sellers use BIN option with automatic renew(GTC).

EBay tells us there may be a delay in "indexing" new listings of up to 24 hours.

High value items and new sellers have longer delays.

While eBay "brands" itself as an auction site, over 85% of listings are Fixed Price. Even the few auctions (which eBay defaults new sellers into ) often have a Buy It Now or a Best Offer option which end the auction early.

In addition, there are more Unpaid Item Disputes with auctions than with Fixed Price listings. FP can also have an Immediate Payment Required option.
