Change shipped from address

Is it okay to ship a sold item from a different address when I am away from home? I don't want to change the posted fee, I just want to send from somewhere else because I won't be home when the auction ends.

While I have your attention, I notice you have not sold in over a year.

That makes you a "returning or occasional " seller and you should be aware that eBay will likely Hold your buyer's payment against your good customer service for 30 days.

And also are you registered for Managed Payments? Without that relatively new payment processor, eBay has no way to transfer the money to your checking account.

Sellers can no longer use Paypal to get paid.
