eBay's FREE listing promotion days

What happened to eBay's FREE listing promotion days they always had a few times a year? Don't recall seeing this promotion for this year yet! Has there been one or more that I missed?

None this month except the 50 given at the beginning of month. You would think they would go in concert with the free shipping Tuesdays at Canada Post to get consumers back to eBay. I read somewhere recently eBay is like 6th largest now which is a drop in the past few years in ranking.

You are seeing more long time sellers leaving eBay for various reasons but mostly I am gathering due to all the fees they started charging.   Here is to hoping a free listing day appears soon or I am out also beginning to be a waste of time. I sold more in a month last year than all of 2017 so far.

I saw 3 free promos last month on ebay.CA -- three was unusual, this month I have none (except for a limited, non-free promo on .com). Most I found out about by checking the Seller Central postings https://community.ebay.ca/t5/Seller-Central/bd-p/213 or by checking the Promotional Offers section of My eBay.

Non-store sellers get 50 free listings per month on both ebay.CA and ebay.COM -- so 100 in total (.com works best for stuff that can be shipped at a flat rate, since calculated shipping is not available for Canada Post on .com).

They've become more targeted -- at times only non-Store sellers get free listings (beyond those included with the Store subscription) while at other times, sellers are given free listings for auctions, which are rapidly dying as a buyer preference but are one way eBay differentiates itself from other online sites.

Promotions are distributed for the benefit of eBay, not as a prize to sellers.

And we all get 50 Free Listings every month, which is a relatively new promotion.

With 101 listings (50 of which are free every 30 days) you may find this useful to decide if opening a Store is worthwhile.

One often overlooked advantage of Stores, is the ability to put the Store on Vacation for a few days or months as needed.
