Haven't used Ebay in a little while, and the shipping tool for listings has changed. Was trying to list something but I only have three options to ship now: Standard Shipping: small to medium items Freight: Oversized items Local Pickup Only: sell to buyers near you My problem, my package is 5lb which is over the 2kg limit for Standard Shipping. Hi, Since I listed my items, I am receiving offers all from the US. An eBay expert in another discussion told me that in my listing I have mentioned that I ship to the US. I have mistakenly done that, I didn't know I can ship to the US. My questions are: 1. How would I delete that? From where should exclude the "shipment to the US" from my listing? 2. If I decide to ship to the US as well, are there any ways I can mention 2 different shipment fees in my listing? Apparently, when I want to mail an item to customers, these eBay labels need to be printed & added to my package. 1. Is it worth it to use these labels? 2. How much do I have to pay for each? 3. I am selling some pre-owned & new clothes (my own clothes), what is the best packaging for clothes you suggest? And also something with a reasonable price. 4. And lastly, the shipping fee I have added for each of my listings is Approx. I also explained this in my item descriptions. Hi.Been buying on Ebay for years but just recently started selling.Listed my item for Canada ,USA shipping but during the listing I got a message from overseas (middle east) if I would ship to that country.I said yes as long as they pay the difference in shipping above and beyond what was stated in the listing. Buyer sniped auction. Then complained about shipping cost because insurance and signature are required. I sent screenshots of Canada post rates. I guess he didn’t believe that; he changed his address from California to Oregon “to check”. When I pointed out that this would incur CA sales tax and a _higher_ total, he changed it back. I agreed to eat the cost of shipping and sent him an updated invoice last night, for the original Oregon address. This morning, it has changed again to some “cargo” address in Germany!! I do not ship to Germany. The auction clearly states Canada and USA shipping only. He hasn’t paid yet, and I don’t want to nag with another message. I try to use whatever boxes I have on hand to ship things since I find Canada Post's boxes too expensive. I've recently sold a bundle of Wii games and figured I'd ship them in a Wii U box since it's convenient and dare I say thematically appropriate. There aren't any previous shipping labels attached to the box, but it's rather colorful with pictures and Nintendo's logo all over it.   Am I allowed to ship it as is? I am new here. Today, I received my first offer from a customer in the US, though I listed my item on eBay Canada. 1. Is it common to have customers from the US? 2. How should I handle the shipment? I asked both FedEx & Canada post, and they charge around CAD$52.  3. Can I ask the buyer to pay for the shipment? If so, how can they pay it? online?   p.s. I have noticed some of my items are in my overview page with share on a blue button beside them. I don't have any other social media spots to share anything. I tried sharing on my pinterest and it seems to do nothing. I don't want to share on my fb for personal reasons.  Does anyone else bother to share listings and if so  do they help you sell anything? I have - or had - 130+ work-in-progress listings in my Drafts folder a couple of months ago.   Then before I could complete and schedule more than a handful of these works-in-progress, they began disappearing, and in no discernible pattern. Initially I dropped under 100, followed by another 15 or so more in subsequent days and weeks. But then yesterday, after relisting a couple of drafts my remaining total dropped by 20 plus. This morning I woke up to another one gone.    Today, I'm sitting at 51 drafts total out of my original 130+ roughly 6 weeks ago with less than 20 relisted during that period. FTR, none of these drafts had gone without an update and save within any rolling 30 day window.   Any idea how or why this might be happening? I posted an  rx-580 graphics card for auction a couple days ago, Ebay gives you options of similar items to click on to make listing easy , I clicked on one that was the exact same card, but it had a 12x before the listing, I dont want to be misleading , but I am not able to change the discription. A few days ago I got locked out of my account. I kept clicking on the boats and buses, and then decided to try to sign in with my google account, which I have never done. I was asked a series of random secuirty questions linked to my google account. When I got signed in I was directed to another sellers page with sort of the same name as my google account user name.
