[BUG] When item(s) can't ship to a location, there's no notification indicating which item(s)

I noticed something broken when adding items to cart that don't meet a seller's shipping requirements (aka can't ship to our location):

When our cart shows the following error message:

"The address specified in your cart is in a location that does not meet the seller's shipping requirements."

There's NO way to know WHICH item this message applies to! We have to individually check items just to find out which one. It makes for a very bad shopping experience when we have more than 2-3 items...

I hope eBay's dev read these forums.

Thanks!

Sirus

There will be a chat with eBay staffers on Oct 4 (noon EST). That would be the time to raise this.

OTOH, it is also the responsibility of the buyers to make sure that the shipping costs he is required to pay are acceptable before ordering, and when he looks on that tab, it will also tell him that the seller may not ship to Canada.

If a seller ships to Canada, the listing will appear on dotCA (here). The price will also show in both loonies and the currency of the original listings.

Giving three good reasons to look at both tabs in the listing.

According to Tyler's post on the Weekly Chat board, the next Weekly Chat isn't until October 11.

To the OP: If you do decide to go that route, the thread is usually opened sometime the day before so you don't need to be online during that one specific hour that eBay staff is on. You can ask your question at any point when the thread is open.
