Can anyone help me understand how my listed item immediately gets 4 views?

I have noticed this so often that I'm getting suspicious that something is clearly wrong. There is just no way my item can be viewed literally immediately after posting, unless |"m missing something. Am I?

One possibility could be that some of your title words or of your Item Specifics are on someone's Search List.

So when you put up something that has those words, a bot grabs it and puts it on that Search, whether that person ever looks at it or not.

I have no answer for you, only that you're not alone with this puzzle.  Yesterday I listed 4 listings, and immediately it showed viewers, one as many as 9.  My experience in the last while, after the initial viewers, no one else looks.  The listing eventually ends, 5 days later with no more viewers, and no sales.  My items are clearly visible, and priced competitively with fair shipping costs, so I don't know what's the reason.  Hope you get an answer for all of us.  Cheers.
