Ebay Canada Autoplaying ads at bottom of page

Is anyone else having an issue using the site due to 3 autoplay video ads at the bottom of most pages (summary, search, etc.)?

I cannot close these with Ad Choice. They render the pages unusable. I can't scroll back up the page as it keeps bouncing me back down to these ads at the bottom of the page. All of my browsers are up to date (use Safari on Mac).

Ads are for Red Bull, Cetaphil, some Canadian life planning **bleep**... it's beyond irritating. Can't delete Java Script as page is not useable otherwise.

Yes, I am having the same problem. The page keeps popping down to those annoying ads.  Will never buy those products!!  I have finally given up looking at the listings which is certainly not good for the sellers.  If other people are experiencing the same problem it is no wonder that I haven't sold anything lately.  Will need to look into adblocker.

I too am infuriated with the annoying video ads. When they come on I close the browser and do something else. There is no way I would ever buy anything from the companies that use them.

What happened to the "Tell us what you think" button at the bottom of pages? The US site still has theat but not the Canadian. I would certainly have aired my grievances with the ads if it were still there.

yes same problem...using Firefox. Annoying but no way to get rid of as far as I know.

You are the second user to report a problem like this in recent days.

My advice for you will be the same:

1. Triple-check you are absolutely up-to-daye with Safari. I had similar issues 18 months ago which were fixed with a minor Safari patch update I didn't know about.

2. Instlal AdBlocker. You can get it form Apple, the App store.

I also use Safari but am not experiencing at present the issues you identify.

I'm using uBlock Origin 1.14.10 in Firefox 56 and never see any ads or popups, etc.

AdChoice or AdChoices is an online advertising service. Get rid of it.

uBlock v0.9.5.2 is available for Safari.

Alternatives might be AdGuard or Adblock Plus,

Make sure your filter list(s) are up to date.
