how to stop voice activated commercials on ebay

I am annoyed to hear voice activated advertising when I open an eBay site. 

How can I de-activate this interference.

Are you sure that's 'ebay advertising' and not some weird malware that has made itself a home on your system?

That could be a possibility, it's difficult to tell where its coming from.
