In the past couple of days, my FireFox browser is crashing. Nicely, it want me to recover and does so okay. FireFox never crashes like this but maybe 4-5 time in the past couple of days. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.
I do not think it is an ebay glitch but you never know. It could be my Internet Security suite was updated and breaking it. No windows update for me lately.
I am running FireFox 41.0.2 and a have it set to not automatically update just warn me. Strangely, I started getting FireFox popups saying version 42.0.0 is available. LOL, maybe they want to force me by crashing my older version of FireFox.
I just read on the eBay.com forums someone was having FireFox crash too but when uploading pictures which I was not doing.

I also updated yesterday to 42.0

I also updated to FF 42.0 today.
FF has not crashed since I posted. Wait and see.
I have Microsoft updates waiting to be installed too. They just popped up asking to install.
I have most updates ask me first. This way I know when my computer or parts of it change and I can relate these changes to any issues I have with the computer (if any) after an update. Over cautious perhaps but this way I know when updates happen. Another benefit of waiting a few days is that if an update causes issues, someone will post about it and I can delay until the issues is fixed.
As for FireFox, whenever they release a a "0" zero level version like 42.0, they almost always come out with a "0.1" version like 42.0.1 in the next week or two to fix whatever they forgot in the zero level. If they made some bad mistake the 0.1 level will come out in 1-2 days after. Rarer, if they did not fix in the 0.1 version, they release a 0.2 version quickly. So to avoid all this, I usually wait a week or more for FireFox to finish all the fixes to a level before updating. I updated earlier this time because of the issue I was having.

I used to wait until I updated as well but somehow the settings changed so that both IE and FF were updating automatically. It's been like that for the last year and so far, it hasn't caused any problems....that I'm aware of.
