Listings translation

Ebay translates listings titles. I hate that. If its in french, leave that way. If its in english leave that way. Any language, just leave it.

I tried to use the app instead of the web. And there was the option to stop that. But I'm stuck with the french version of the app. Nowhere there is the option to have it in english.

If I use the web, I have to deal with those stupid translations, or use the app in french. And I am a dinosaur, it is very hard for me to navigate the options of a cell phone. I Checked my browser couldn't find how to solve this.

Anybody out there that can help me? I want to use english ebay without any translation please

I see your listing titles in French even though my setttings for eBay are for English, but I also do not use a phone or app to access eBay.....I am old school-I use a desktop computer for accessing eBay and for 99% of my usage of anything related to the internet.

Which version of eBay are you using: cafr.ebay.ca or ebay.ca?

And what browser are you using?  Could it be your browser that's doing the translating rather than eBay?

I see titles in English, titles in French, and at least one in both languages.

@mathieu_super_aubaines, when I view the list of items that you have for sale on cafr.ebay.ca, the listing titles are often quite different from what I see on eBay.ca.  Do you see a difference between the two?

As far as the app goes, I use the iOS version. If you use the Android version, my findings might not apply.

There are two settings that can be adjusted on my app.  One setting enables the translation of listings, the other changes my country/region location.  For the latter, there is a location setting for eBay Canada, and a location setting for eBay Canada (French).

Do you have something similar in your version of the app?  If so, how are those settings set?
