Trying to sell a car.

Car is over $2000

Am I correct that the total fees would be $125(when sold) + insertion fees?.

I dont want to accept paypal. What would be the most safest way to accept payment?

Will this be considered income when I do my taxes?.

Is it possible that the only option I can give to the buyer is "pick up only?".

Thanks.

As a low volume seller (under 7 vehicles sold per year) is $125 plus sales tax on the $125.

You do get free basic listings (insertions) every month (optional upgrades still cost).

Cash or certified cheque.

You can always select local pickup.

Income (profit) = Selling price minus all selling expenses minus purchase cost. But it will depend on whether you bought the vehicle for resale or it was a personal use vehicle (capital gain/loss).
