my contact is about my phone number being on the package when delivery is made. Ever since this was requested ,getting unwan 50 calls a week

This is about my phone having to be on the packaging when buying. As soon as this was requested ,Getting 50 unwanted calls a week . Had to change my number again. Is this really needed ???????????????????????
