Did you explain to the buyer that once an auction has ended or an item has been bought, there is simply no way a seller can change the price, that the system won't allow it? 🙂

I don't suppose it would have made a difference, but if you want to read about ebay's persona non grata policy, there is a bit about threats near the bottom.  Dunno if this applies to you or not:

If the buyer refuses to pay, there is always the possibility of opening an unpaid item dispute.

Don't argue. If four days have passed, file the Unpaid Items Dispute.

If he does not pay up, he gets a Strike, you get your fees back, and he cannot leave feedback.

If he does pay up, and leave nasty feedback, you can work with eBay to have it removed on the basis of those threatening emails.

Further, you can Respond to any feedback, even if you have not left feedback yourself. Responses are most effective when they are calm and factual, but they are not required to be positive.
