How do I know if I need to send a buyer an invoice or if eBay does it automatically.

Just sold an item but have no idea to see if an invoice was sent by eBay...

ebay will notify your buyer with an invoice, you will get a notice in your inbox to that effect. If there are changes i.e. shipping costs, tax etc., you can amend the invoice, and send it to your buyer.  If there are no changes, you need not send anything, your buyer has all they need to pay you.
