If you are the buyer then; 

1) send an email to seller to request tracking#,

2) if no reply,,,and seller does not ship with a tracking#, then seller has no seller protection from paypal, so you would be able to make claim with Ebay or Paypal in the event of parcel being lost or delayed.

3) best to call Paypal on telephone and ask for rules and procedures in that case, and how to proceed.

 

Some listings declare in their terms that item is to be shipped without tracking#, in that case if it gets lost you might be unable to claim.

usually that is only the case for a purchase of under $5.00, where it would not be worth it to spend $10-$20 on shipping service that includes a tracking# and insurance coverage.

Remember that Sellers get charged a 10% FVFee on Shipping rates, so it might not be worth it for seller to offer expensive shipping service that includes tracking# + Insurance coverage for a sale under $5.00.

 

If you are the seller and you printed a shipping label through paypal and the tracking# does not show up automatically on your eBay Page, (sometimes that happens), then simply enter the tracking# manually on your eBay page for that transaction.
