Not quite sure what your question is:
The eBay.ca website is not located in Canada. But it is eBay's website for Canada.

yes, ebay.ca is a canadian website
by canadian law they must have a physical address to be able to operate in canada. they also have employees in canada and a gst/hst number so they can remit tax collected on fees, both fvf on sales and pp fees.

Utter nonsense. Websites have no such requirement.

Hi everyone,
Just to confirm, eBay.ca rolls up to eBay International AG in Switzerland, therefore, we do not collect or remit GST. This has no bearing on whether sellers need to collect or remit sales taxes & should seek advise from a professional for clarification.
Thanks,

The shipping charges on E-Bay are way too high. AMAZON has a prefered partner plan where shipping is free. Does E-Bay plan to offer something similar or do you have an alternate low cost shipping option that a seller can take advanatge of. I cannot affford soem items becuse theri value is less than the hsipping charges.

ZOMBIE THREAD from 2014.
Also.
TANSTAAFAL.
There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.
"Free" shipping means the cost of shipping is rolled into the selling price of the item.
Which has to make you wonder how much the seller actually paid for the item you are buying.
