New Listings Not Working

Hello. I am new to ebay.ca and have been trying to list my products. Whenever I finish a listing and click to make it live, I get a message saying ebay is having technical difficulties. I have tried using other browsers with no luck. It is doing this for every single listing I am trying to create. Any help would be great.

Hi @acconnectors-ca - welcome to eBay! It looks like you may be running into some issues when listing your first item for sale that's preventing the process from completing. 

The best thing for you to do before you try again:

1. Clear your browser cache and cookies and restart the browser.
2. Double check your phone number on file, as it may be missing a country code that's preventing our system from taking you through the next step.

I just tried both and it still doesn't work. I am still getting a message stating that eBay is having technical issues.

Hi @acconnectors-ca - sorry that I missed your comment from earlier this week! Are you okay if I try to push something through from my end? As near as I can tell your account isn't registered to sell yet (which makes sense), but there's nothing obvious about why you'd be hitting an error. If you'll tag me with your response I'll get a notification. 🙂

tyler@ebay, my account isn't registered to sell yet? Why is that? I'm pretty positive I set this up correctly as a business account for selling. And yes, please try pushing something through on your end.

@acconnectors-ca - it has to do with the way the registration flow is built: it's all tied to the first listing you push through. Since you keep hitting an error when listing that would keep the registration from fully completing. Just a fun aside. 😉 I'll see what I can manage from my end and update you here

Hi @acconnectors-ca! I wasn't able to get things blunt-forced through from my end, so I'm going to have to pursue this as a potential technical issue. I have one last thing to check though, keep an eye out for a private message on the Community Boards in a moment. Thanks!
