Local Pickup

Hi i won an item on ebay (09,09,2014) that is a local pickup, i messaged the seller that same day asking for the info as i have not yet paid for it and i will not pay untill i get the info. So far no replies, is the seller trying to wait it out in hopes i give up because i won it on the only bid for $50.00 ?? Can ebay send me a phone # so i can contact him or can ebay contact him and force him to comply with the sale ?

What is probably happening is eBay is blocking your messages, including a phone # is seen as an attempt to circumvent the fee-incurring payment process. Not only that, but I once had a message blocked (with a warning) saying that local pickups were not allowed. Things aren't getting any better......

Click on the Advanced search, top right and on next page left hand side click on contact informatio. You can get the sellers phone number that way.

Just to be clear, local pickups are allowed.

It is normal for a seller to ask for cash with pickups, but he then marks the transaction as paid manually.

i understand that reallynicestamps, the problem is the seller hasn't returned my message for the pickup info or even return my phone call. I'm thinking the laptop was already sold long ago (privately) and the seller didn't remove the listing and can't bare to inform me.
