I bought a cat toy last night (I live in Alberta) fro Great Britain I think-the payment was in pounds-and today I was told it can’t be sent due to Covid. Will the amount paid drop off my visa?

Check your PayPal and/or your Visa account.

You can login online to your account, or wait for a paper/hard copy to be delivered in the mail.

You may see the refund there already.

If not, it can take three to five business days for it to display on your credit card statement.

Refunds are issued based on the payment method used for the purchase.

Typically, the refund will be issued in your local currency and will be calculated with the same rate used when you placed your order.

Your credit card vendor most likely charged you a currency exchange fee and/or a foreign transaction fee, which I doubt will be reimbursed.

And if you back your PP account with a credit card (or if you pay with a credit card directly) the card, not the PP account will be credited.

The amount you are credited might be affected by currency exchange fees.

I bought some hair dye from the UK in August and while it was slow to arrive, it got here with no problems, so it is not an eBay nor a postal rule.
