Buy it now/good till cancelled fees?

Bit of a dumb basic question, but I'm a lil confused after reading through the help pages.

So without a store, I get 250 free listings each month, including Buy It Now...

If I set them to "good till cancelled", is there a fee for that or not, when it re-lists?  That's automatic, each month?  One page I read said they charge insertion fees for that, but elsewhere it was implied that there's no fee as long as you're under the 250 free listings.

Can someone clarify, please & thanks?

No they are really free.

When they relist, they are still free.

But the 251st listing will have a fee.

Unless.

If you sell ten items you would only have 240 relistings and can add another ten new listings for that month.

You would of course pay fees on each sale, and those fees would include the shipping you charged your customer, the sales taxes they paid their government, and a 30c non-refundable service charge.

BTW- If you decide to go with a Store, the 1000 "free" listings you get for your Basic Store subscription are not really free, since you pay $22-$28 a month for the  Store.

If you only have 251 listings in that Store you would be paying ~9c for each listing.

There are advantages to a Store, but it does not necessarily save you money.

Good till cancelled relist each month and when they do, they use up one of your 250 free listings. On the overview page of sellers hub in the Promotional Offers section there is a running total of how many free listings you have left for the month.
