I have been trying and reporting, that the shipping calculators do not work for years, yes years, and this problem still has not been fixed.

i always have to bother the seller.for shipping costs.

the US sellers calculators do not except postal codes, they say they do. But no they don't..

ebay come on address this  and fix it. The last rep I called at eBay said he would update the calculator to except my postal code.

Well hello, I am still waiting.

does anyone have a trick I can use to get the thing to except my postal code.

The word you are looking for is  'accept'.

Yes, I am the grammar police.

The easiest fix I know is to find a municipal building near you (city hall? a fire station?) and use their postal code.

The eBay data base is not well coordinated with the Canada Post data base. For what it's worth, it doesn't play well with the USPS zipcode data base either.

On the buying side:

I have never had a problem with my postal code either as "N1R2A4" or "N1R 2A4" when the country choice is set to Canada.  What's your postal code? You may need to use a nearby equivalent if the eBay postal code base is out of date.
