You post in the seller forums if you have seller questions.

kijiji is Canada only so will have nothing to do with the majority of eBay.com sellers
The glory days of eBay -- never existed. Just like most "glory" days, it is in the eye of the beholder.
Some sellers on eBay find their glory days are in the past -- while others are working to create them now...

EBay owns both sites but makes money on eBay, the other is just a free site and paid for by all the advertising. It is not surprising that eBay would want to direct as much traffic to the paid site (eBay) as possible and this is one easy way to do it. When a buyer clicks a listing on that other site, it will direct them to the eBay listing. I think the bargain hunters will be far more annoyed by that than any eBay seller. People using the other site do so because the don't want to pay $38 in shipping for a wristwatch.
The topic came up recently on the Seller Board if you want to see it, maybe weigh in with your thoughts,
If, as your title suggests (which conflicts with the message), you want to talk about selling with other sellers, ask selling questions and get a lot of selling opinions, go to the Seller Central board,

EBay is for everybody, not just buyers, or sellers, or lookie-loos.
