Orders from China are bankrupting Canada Postal Services , they do not see a dime from shipping included
items shipped from China but they need to pay mail man 24$ an hour to deliver package to your door.

Strike: both sides will be in a position to strike / lockout on July 2. Since July 2 is a Saturday on a long weekend, I'd say rather unlikely, the day to watch will be July 4.

It is more likely that the workers will be locked out than that they will strike.

That's been what Canada Post management seems to prefer.

When the workers strike, they don't get paid.

Not again!!!!  Fire the union person!  Also Canada Post needs to lay off the higher personnel as they get way too high salary, then they will save some millions from that, no do not buy them out, lay them off like many other companies.

One of reasons they go into debt is that they use buy outs, which they should have lay them off.
