As a buyer, can I block myself from some sellers?

Sounds stupid, HUH? I buy numerous articles on ebay the same as most of you. The items I purchase are normally from the same category. I find that I'm constantly asking the same questions over and over because some listings are not as informative as they should be and are a little vague. Between my memory and the changes in a sellers ID, I find it a little difficult to keep track of the people I don't want to buy from.
I'm looking for a safety net to help save me from myself! LOL
Any Ideas...

Make a list for yourself, of the sellers you don't want to buy from, tape it to your computer screen and don't bid. If their ID changes, scratch out the old ID on your list and write in the new one.

For this procedure you will need:

A piece of paper
A pencil or pen
A piece of tape

Which you can find in most stationary stores near you.

While you can do a lot of things to yourself;-), blocking your own bids isn't one of them. I'm curious, do you trip yourself, to make yourself fall down too?? So you can laugh when you hit the ground??

Andrew, you can use the advanced search form to "exclude" results from sellers that you specify. Then save the search as a favourite. Each time the search is done it will return results from all others except those not wanted.

Sorry if my answer attempts to address your question.;-)

Bill, I'm confused, You have a powerseller icon, you sell a book called Ebay for Dummies, and yet you have only 12 transactions in May?? How can you still be in here with so few sales?? This board is for powersellers, which at the moment, you are not. I'm going to have to write Ebay and ask how thta one works. My other question is if you've read and sold the book Ebay for Dummies.. how come your sales are so low? Just wonderin'

Don't worry, Phil just likes to hear himself.

and yet you have only 12 transactions in May

He even seems to believe that every sale results in FB...don't we all wish that was true. LOL I think only about 55% of my customers end up leaving FB.

Phil - I seem to recall Bill stating that he posts primarily on the DOt.COM site and not on the DOT.CA site so that is why you do not see alot of activity for him.

You have to check his DOT.COM site.
