Charge Back Help

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with dealing with large orders being shipped overseas.
I have a large order that was ordered by someone in Singapore (approx. $5000.00 worth). (This particular order is a website order not eBay.)
He is paying by Credit Card- I tried to run it, but it would not go through.
He sent me a new card number- I tried to run it as well, but it would not go through either.
I know what you're thinking- STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY, right??
What, if any, protection do have against a chargeback here. I am assuming none.
Is it possible to buy insurance somehow against chargebacks?

Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,

Ask for a bank transfer.....you could offer to pay all the buyers fees and still save a bundle compared to PayPal.

A bank transfer cannot be reversed or subject to a chargeback.

You can buy insurance for anything if you are willing to pay the price.

Chargeback protection = "zero"

Bank transfer works well. Offer to pay the fees, as recped suggested.

If the buyer shies, walk away from it.

Thanks guys.
I did a check on him through Visa. The card is registered to someone in Florida, and it is as I suspected- FRAUD.
I will use the bank transfer idea from now on- thanks.
