Does ebay accept prepaid credit cards?

I use my prepaid credit cards all the times, I've used visa and master card and they both work, you have to set it up with paypal first. Just set it up like a normal credit card

You are both right.

Prepaid cards are not accepted when setting up accounts. The credit card is a rough and ready way of proving that the holder is over 18 (and thus liable for his debts) and has a good enough credit rating to be an trustworthy member. The cc also would have on file an address to identify the holder’s location.

But if a verified account already exists, a prepaid card or a gift card can be used to pay the invoice.  The user should be aware that, unlike a credit card, once the money is sent from the prepaid card, it cannot be retrieved, so Buyer Protection is minimal.
