Hello,

Curious why U.S. sellers are allowed to use the GSP when selling item's like Gold and Silver to Canadian buyers, these particular item's are Tax Exempt in Canada! New members to ebay may not be aware of this and pay a hefty premium especially  on larger more expensive orders.

Can this information be passed on to ebay management so they may correct it?

EBay doesn't even make an attempt to correct US and UK sellers of cheap items that do not require border clearance. Which would only require an announcement similar to those that appera when items like postage stamps, Native American items, and Nazi paraphenalia are listed.

Such an announcement could be tied to the Buy It Now or Fixed Price text box on the Sell Your Item form.

On the not particularly brighter side, the Global Shipping Program means that many more US and UK sellers are now willing to ship outside their own borders. They just tend to do it really badly.

It's sad to say buy : eBay won't care about GSP bugs.

They have a partnership with Pitney Bowes and with GSP program, everyone is happy.

By everyone, I mean : eBay, Pitney Bowes and the seller

The buyer is not important enough, since he pays the bill, everything is "ok"

It's been few years that people here are raising flags about multiples problems on the GSP program and nothing changes.
