Has anyone ever bid on something from abroad and immediately had someone from that country try to hack into your email account?

The seller has excellent feedback, but I find this hacking attempt from the seller's country to be very suspicious.

Would you be so kind as to explain what you mean by a 'hacking attempt', -- so that those of us who are unsure if we have experienced such a thing will at least know how to recognise it . 🙂
