Do you have a tracking number or estimated delivery date?

Contact your seller for your tracking number, and consider an Item Not Received claim with ebay if you don't get one. DO NOT ACCEPT THE OFFER OF A REPLACEMENT if the item is coming from a seller overseas because it will not arrive in time. Often but not always, this is a tactic from unscrupulous sellers designed to run down the clock.

With ebay, you have 30 days to file a claim but if you used paypal to submit payment, to goes up to 180 days in their resolution centre. Whatever happens, do not agree to 'close' your claim until you have the money from the refund in your hands and you have checked it is real and does exist.

As it would appear you are new to ebay, you may be a target for unethical sellers. Stick to purchases made close to home; they are easier to return if they don't meet your expectations. I wrote a guide for new members that you might find useful at:

Best of luck to you and welcome to ebay!

Why the UK link? Your guide is available with a .ca link or .com link too.

I clicked on your link and wanted to click Like but it wanted me to login to eBay UK. So I changed the link to .ca as above where I was logged in to Like it.

Thanks for asking, pocomo! I created the Guide on UK because it was the only one that allowed me to format it nicely. Ebay.ca was a single blob of text and ebay.com wasn't much better. I wanted to make it look *nice*. If you view it on ebay.co.uk, you'll see what I mean. I guess they care about those things more across the pond. Or have more resources available to devote to Guides.

This is what I get when I go to it from ebay.ca http://reviews.ebay.ca/10-Steps-to-Hassle-Free-Buying-on-eBay?ugid=10000000204701784

I'll use your link next time!

If you use poco's link it looks the same on .ca and the UK site.

Looks like that link is going through the old ebay.ca guides system.  When I check the Site Map at the bottom of an eBay.ca page, I find a link for Reviews and Guides in the Buying Resources section at the bottom right and it is to the old system.  The link is like this

http://reviews.ebay.ca/

when it should be the new

http://www.ebay.ca/gds

The above link does not work properly so it seems eBay.ca Canada never updated the site for the new guides system from a menu system view. A full link will work like the one I posted but the the guides system in the ebay.ca site is still using the old menu system interface.

What else is new? This eBay.ca Canada site is so poorly maintained from help files to whatever. No budget for maintenance. Just firefighting, putting out the small fires all the time.

Something to mention at the next weekly session and maybe eBay.ca Canada will fix it. Not a critical system but still, how many eBayers are turned off by the constant glitches and poor maintenance of this site. Very frustrating to use ebay.ca Canada site.
