I chose the wrong shipping method, bid is almost over, can i change it?

I am selling a phone in ebay and i chose the wrong shipping method, the shipping method i chose has no tracking. 

My bid has 15 hours left, someone bid already, can i change my shipping method?

I want a shipping method with tracking for my own safety and sellers safety.

Hi,

I see your item being sold is free shipping,  When you ship you'll be able to send it with a tracking/insurance when u get to your post office. If you print shipping label via E-bay or Paypal chose expedited parcel, hence you will get a tracking #.

thank you for the reply. free shipping is just within the country. i was wondering for international. i put down small packets international. but i want to change that to a shipping method that can track. do i need to contact the bid winner to notify them? the shipping will cost more

It's too late to change the shipping method now and you can't charge the buyer more than what was stated in the listing once the auction ends.

What you can do is cancel all the bids and end the listing early, so that you can revise the shipping method.

Note that you can only end 1 auction (with cancelled bids) early per year. Succeeding auctions with cancelled bids will be charged fees if you end them early.

Tracking is for your benefit. Buyers have buyer protection. For most items, it's cost prohibitive to offer a shipping method that provides tracking; but since this is a high scam item...

You have to check which shipping methods have tracking. Tracked packet, for example, is only available to 28 countries:

You also have to check country requirements. Countries like Italy and Germany, for example, don't allow items that contain lithium batteries to be shipped by postal service (i.e. Canada Post). You'd have to use a carrier like UPS, FedEx, etc.

Free shipping means just that, if you wish to alter shipping methods thats on your nickel not the buyers, make sure in future listings out of your country used calculated shippinng.
