I have not yet started selling on E-Bay, however I plan to do so. Do I need a postal scale to weigh items?

I live in Canada, mail costs are high.  Do I need a scale for weighing along with all of the other measurements required?  I couldn't find it in the shipping sections or I missed it!

Thanks for helping

Rebecca

Absolutely!

Canadian Tire has sales on the Starfrit scale fairly often - prices as low as $10.

Use metric measures, too. Canada Post went metric in 1974 and using Imperial will be inaccurate.\

There is a also a disconnect between the CP and USPS sizes for some parcels. While you can print out the standards, you can also check to see that your shipping fee for the USA does show up by opening and looking at your newly listed item.

If there is a problem, increase the Canadian dimensions by a centimeter , on paper not really. This will not change the prices but will allow the US shipping fee to show.
