Is a buyer supposed to mark an item as received?

I've sold an item, and shipped it. Canada Post's tracking system marks it as having been delivered, but I haven't heard from the buyer. (Not that I necessarily need to.) I would, however like it know that he's gotten it and is happy.

No, there is no place for a buyer to mark an item as received. If a buyer hasn't received an item or if there is a problem...you'll hear about it.

It is best to assume that everything is fine unless they tell you it isn't and it is not a good idea to contact them first to ask that.
